EGM supporting the conference “The Marzoli Museum and Lombard weapons”.

14.10.2018
EGM supported an important cultural initiative to promote and protect the historical manufacturing identity of Brescia. The company collaborated with the Brescia Museum Foundation and the Brescia City Council, having chosen to support the conference “The Marzoli Museum and Lombard Weapons”, held in Brescia from 15 to 17 November 2018. The company, founded in 1860 in Lumezzane, in Val Trompia, is rooted in a valley context characterised by the presence of raw materials - first and foremost metals and water - which gave impetus to the strong manufacturing propensity that still characterises EGM today. Originating in the weapons manufacturing context with the production of swords, in over a century and a half of history, which in the mid-80s saw the move to its current headquarters in Brescia, EGM has evolved its business model while always maintaining its “heart” in its expertise. Even today, this link with the past represents a cultural and territorial value to be preserved, also by supporting initiatives such as the one launched by the Brescia Museum Foundation and the Brescia City Council, aimed precisely at promoting and enhancing an excellence that is perhaps unique in the world.
